Our primary approach is Myoskeletal Alignment Therapy (MAT), a hands-on bodywork method that addresses musculoskeletal imbalances through soft tissue techniques, muscle energy work, and movement-based therapies. MAT focuses on correcting dysfunctional patterns in the body to improve posture, mobility, and overall function.

WHAT IS MYOSKELETAL ALIGNMENT THERAPY?
Myoskeletal Alignment Therapy (MAT) is a hands-on approach designed to improve posture, reduce pain, and restore efficient movement. Sessions focus on releasing chronic muscle tension and addressing imbalances in how the body holds and moves. The work may include soft-tissue techniques and gentle joint mobilizations to support better alignment, function, and ease of movement.
MEET MICHAEL VLAHOULIS MMT, LMT
Michael has been a licensed massage therapist since 2012 and specializes in therapeutic, results-driven bodywork that helps clients move better, reduce pain, and restore balance. He is a master practitioner of Myoskeletal Alignment Therapy (MAT), which combines precise soft-tissue work with gentle osteopathic-based joint mobilizations.
In addition to MAT, Michael offers therapeutic massage, restorative massage, and traditional Japanese Reiki, drawing on over 15 years of energy healing experience. His approach is hands-on, client-focused, and tailored to each individual’s needs, helping people recover from chronic pain, postural strain, nerve discomfort, and daily stress.
Michael believes in empowering clients with awareness and self-care strategies to support lasting results. Outside the studio, he enjoys exploring wellness practices, teaching, and continually refining his techniques to provide safe, effective, and transformative care.
